Community Economic Development Assistance
SCCOG received funding from the City of Trinidad and a matching 2017 EIAF DOLA Grant to provide Community Economic Development Assistance to several of Trinidad's Boards and downtown partner organizations as the first phase of a regional economic development plan for Huerfano and Las Animas Counties. SCCOG personnel are providing technical assistance to City Boards and community organizations to assist in developing "theory of change" frameworks for facilitating data-based planning, decision making, and accountability, as a first phase for enhancing data informed decision making throughout Huerfano and Las Animas Counties. This process will be applied to other local governments and organizations as requested and funding is made available.
