Brenda PoeBrenda Poe joined SCCOG as Housing Director in April 2024, bringing a wide range of experience and a passion for helping others. Originally from Weatherford, Texas, Brenda’s career has included roles as a retail manager, bank teller, tax preparer, and most notably, a Program Coordinator at a similar agency where she managed CDBG, HOME, and AFG grants.

Since moving to Trinidad in 2018 with her husband Adrian—thanks to a bit of fate—Brenda has embraced the community and her role in public service. At SCCOG, she oversees the Housing Development Grant (HDG), manages the Housing Rehabilitation Revolving Loan Fund, administers utility assistance programs, and recently took on coordination of the Food Assistance Program for Las Animas County.
